Conclusion and Research Journey
In summary, the geographic location of downtown Denver affects the people that live, visit, and work there in many different ways.
Due to downtown Denver being one mile above sea level, visitors experience altitude sickness. Because of the location, downtown has high levels of ozone and pollutants in the air. People that live there are also more likely to get certain types of cancers that people at low elevations do not usually get. Since the city gets over 300 days of sunshine each year, the population has the opportunity to use solar energy and take advantage of outdoor physical exercise.
In the winter, the homeless population is greatly affected. Even though there are many shelters, some still die on the streets due to the cold. The snow also brings in people that ski. Shuttles are available to take people to ski resorts.
Tourists come to downtown Denver for a variety of reasons. There are job opportunities, sports to watch, and places to visit. Everyone takes advantage of the transportation options available. Whether you realize it or not, you are affected by the geography of your location.

Research Journey
I had about one and a half months to work on this project. Throughout that time, I learned how to look at a topic from many different perspectives. I ended up combining some of my questions to make room for others. My research went well and faster than I expected. Many of my categories could overlap which gave me smoother transitions.
I learned that setting up interviews with people is a lengthy process. Next project, I will make sure that is one of the first things I do. Under the Energy Efficiency and Health tabs I have listed my interview questions. I will post the replies as soon as I have them. My sources included online newspapers, magazine articles, websites, and two interviews through email. I tried to find different opinions on the same issue so I could have different perspectives.
